How to Get the App
Herpidex runs on Expo Go — a free app that lets you run community-built apps on your phone without going through the App Store.

Download Expo Go
Install Expo Go from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). It's free.

Open Expo Go and scan a QR code
Once installed, open Expo Go and use the built-in QR scanner. Contact the Herpidex team for the current app link — we'll share it directly.

Sign in with your account
Create or sign in to your Herpidex account inside the app. This is the same account you use on this website — your data syncs automatically.

Start your first outing
Tap New Outing, choose your location, and start recording species. When you submit, your data appears here on the website immediately.
